Still writing this from (near) Barcelona. Life’s been crazy lately, haven’t been able to keep up with the blog as much as I’d like although ideas for writing keep piling up.
Fatherhood
Kid’s almost one year young. Fatherhood is turning out to be a crazier ride than I foresaw, even with all the warnings from friends and family. Also, this means I’m about to get one year younger too… yikes.
Pennylane
At some point during this year I’ve joined the French fintech Pennylane. I’m back to the pace and chaos that I used to have at Factorial and… I’m enjoying every single bit of it. I’m the first one surprised that I thrive in these environments, being the guy who craves slow living. Sometimes I think I’m a living contradiction, maybe that’s what it means to be human.
Going Vegan
I’ve known this time would come for a while now. After half a decade of being a vegetarian it was bound to happen sooner or later. I came across some Ed Winters video on Youtube and went down the rabbit hole. Turns out it’s hard to turn a blind eye when you get informed.
Status of ZettelCastle
Between the kid and the change of jobs ZettelCastle hasn’t been getting much attention lately. I still have the same frustration when I find something around and want to keep it for further reference, so I’ll get this done eventually. I hope.
Working Out
I’m keeping up with work outs, and actually going up a notch. Being consistent with my kick-boxing and my strength training. Proud of myself.
